From our friends in the Granite State …

NHGA GREENS CARD PROGRAM
The NHGA Greens Card offers unlimited discounts at nearly 50 courses statewide. In addition, when you purchase your card you are automatically entered into our private club drawings for 2010. Lucky winners will receive a four-ball round from one of our participating private clubs. “Hit more Greens for less Green”. To view more information on the program or to purchase your 2010 card click here

TOURNAMENT APPLICATIONS
Applications for this seasons events are now available. Registration can be done online with credit card or entry forms can be printed and mailed with a check. There have been a few tournament changes made over the winter, including an increase of the number of exemptions into the State Amateur Championship. You can read all about the changes under the News section on the right side of our website home page. www.nhgolf.com
Please be sure to take a look at the NET events that are lined up for this season as well. Three of the four will now be TEAM events.

JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS
Applications for the junior tournaments are online as well. Players will need to pass the Rules and Etiquette quiz prior to being eligible to participate the events. The quiz and application can be found on the left side of our site under the Juniors link.

Once again, we would like to thank the New Hampshire Senior Golfer’s Association as well as the Souhegan Woods Inner club - 2008 Membership for their generous contributions towards our junior program.

HANDICAP REVISION SCHEDULE CHANGES
As of January 1, 2010 handicaps indexes will be updated every two weeks year round. Updates will be done on the 1st and 15th of each month. An inactive season will still be observed here in New Hampshire but what this does is allow individuals to play golf in an area that is in season and continue to have their indexes updated during the winter months. New Hampshire will officially move back into the handicap-posting season on April 1.

VOLUNTEERING
The New Hampshire Golf Association is always looking for new volunteers to assist at our events. Volunteers can help as starters, scoring officials, forecaddies or rules officials. We encourage you and anyone you know who has some spare time and would like to get involved in golf tournaments to contact us at the NHGA office (603.569.3471) or email Tournament Director John Jelley at jjelley@nhgolf.com to learn more.
