Whether you’re a scratch golfer, or just trying to break 100 every time you tee it up, North Shore Golf magazine is a publication you will look forward to reading. Because if you love golf and enjoy playing the game on the North Shore, you will find this magazine to be both intriguing and informative. At the same time it will help lower your score and improve your knowledge of the game.
Each issue includes feature stories on area golfers and courses, tip drills by golf pros from the region, celebrity profiles and a back-page column by local golf writer Gary Larrabee, the author of “The Green and Gold Coast,” the hardback book that details the history of golf on the North Shore. Also in each issue, there is a public course directory and a month-by-month schedule of charity tournaments that are open to the public.
North Shore Golf is available at all public and private golf courses, driving ranges and golf apparel stores in the magazine’s distribution area, click here for a complete listing. It is published bi-monthly during the golf season for a total of four issues and is free to the general public.
Our website is also a great tool for anyone who plays golf on the North Shore. We have an expanded tournament schedule that details all of the charity tournaments being played in the area this season, as well as schedules and results from the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour. Also on the website you will find our course directory, which is crucial if you’re looking to make a tee time in the area, as well as an archive section that has all of our back issues.
North Shore Golf is a product of Suburban Publishing Corporation in Peabody. Other Suburban publications that you might be familiar with include the Suburban Real Estate News, found in the North, South and West of Massachusetts as well as in Maine and New Hampshire, and the Peabody and Lynnfield Weekly newspaper.
We here at North Shore Golf would like to thank you for supporting our magazine once again this season. North Shore Golf has generated an extraordinary response from the entire golf community and as we celebrate our fifth year in 2007 we look forward to continuing to provide the most extensive and entertaining coverage of the game in the region.
